Surviving Halloween in Salem

1. Plan your costume before  the 31^stof October.

1. Wear comfortable shoes.  Trust us, no one is checking out your feet.

1. Walk downtown. Don’t drive.

1. Don’t carry any toy weapons – no matter how innocent they might look.

1. Don’t leave anyone behind – come home with everyone you left with.

1. Don’t take drinks from strangers.

1. Dress warmly.

1. Listen to the police – do not argue with them.

1. Don’t wait until the Boston Mounted Police are escorting you out of town to go home.

1. Wear a small mini pack that can hold money, an ID and your Clipper Card.

1. Buy l/2 price candy at the CVS on Thursday morning.

Enjoy and have fun. Where else would you want to be but Salem, Massachusetts for Halloween?
